Jungheinrich introduces their new pantograph reach truck, ETR, in Australia

New pantograph style reach truck / 10 percent higher performance at 10 percent lower energy consumption / ground breaking residual capacities / extensive standard extend of delivery.

Following the successful market launch of its pantograph style reachtruck ETR in North America, Jungheinrich have now also introduced the highly innovative 36 volt truck in the Australian market. With several variations of the ETR the new models will add even more trucks to the already impressive product portfolio of Jungheinrich’s exclusive Australian partner, NTP Forklifts Australia.

The pantograph style reach truck will have two single deep models with a capacity of 1.8 (ETR 340) and 2.0 ton (ETR 345) as well as a double deep variant with a capacity of 1.6 ton (ETR 335d). By using their extensive experience in building reachtrucks, Jungheinrich have achieved substantially enhanced productivity and energy efficiency figures. “Initial measurements have revealed all models will do a two shift operation in an average application with a 10 percent higher throughput compared to other models” explains Philipp Tielmann, Product Manager at Jungheinrich Lift Truck in Houston.

All versions of the ETR have ground breaking residual capacities. The ETR 335d with a basic capacity of 1600 kilograms will hold that capacity up to 10 meters and will even hold 1360 kilograms at 11.3 meters. Furthermore it has the highest double deep capacity in the market with 1200 kilograms up to 10 meters.

With the addition of Jungheinrich’s patented ProTrac- and Curve Control systems the German manufacturer ensures the ETR has a smooth, stable and safe drive. All pantograph reachtrucks will come standard with the highest lift speed in the market, automatic park brake as well as the possibility to simultaneously drive, lift and reach for even higher throughput figures.

Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow engineering sectors. The company is an intralogistics service and solution provider with manufacturing operations, which offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, logistics systems, services and advice. Jungheinrich shares are traded on all German stock exchanges.
